New from Jon Pardi this week, his take on the Metallica classic “Wherever I May Roam”, from “The Metallica Blacklist“.
The Metallica Blacklist” is part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of heavy metal band Metallica’s fifth album, “Metallica” (Referred to by fans as “The Black Album”), and features cover versions from 53 artists celebrating the 12 songs from Metallica’s “Metallica“, with profits from “The Metallica Blacklist” split between Metallica’s All Within My Hands Foundation and a charity of the artist’s choice. Jon Pardi’s profits will benefit The Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism. “The Metallica Blacklist” will be available on Friday, September 10, 2021.
Released in 1991, “Metallica” is Metallica’s top-selling album and the best-selling album of the Soundscan era, and is currently certified 16 times platinum with sales of nearly 17 million copies in the United States alone.
