The City of Topeka, in collaboration with the Greater Topeka Partnership and the Irish Club of Topeka, has announced important changes for this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade, scheduled for March 15th.

To ensure the safety and smooth operation of the parade, parking along the parade route will be restricted starting at 3 AM on Saturday, March 15th. This early restriction allows organizers to clear the roads and set up for the event.

Parade Route: The parade will commence at noon and follow this route:

• Starting at SW 12th St. and SW Jackson Ave.
• Moving north to SW 11th Ave.
• Heading east to S Kansas Ave.
• Continuing north to SW 7th Ave.
• Finally, turning west to SW Harrison St.

Residents and visitors are advised to park outside of the parade route or use downtown parking garages on Friday, March 14th, to avoid any inconvenience. Vehicles parked along the parade route will be towed at the owner’s expense. Despite the road closures, downtown businesses will remain open for pedestrian access. Visitors are encouraged to enjoy the parade and support local businesses.
